Itinerary:

Day 1 - arrival, neighborhood orientation
You will be treated to a neighborhood orientation to help you get the lay of the land and to see the amazing neighborhood you will be staying in. Afterwards, you can enjoy an evening on your own exploring the surrounding neighborhood and getting acclimated to the time. You are surrounded by new and old Seoul.

Day 2 - Get Bold and Beautiful/Children’s Grand Park
We are going to get our personalized colorizations and make-up recommendations from experts in Seoul! You’ve seen these all over your social medias and now is your chance to get your own personalized recommendations. Once your get your colorizations, you can start shopping! We will visit Myeongdong and Namdaemun so you can shop your hearts desire away! Myeongdong is famous for popular stores such as Zara, Laneige Skincare, Olive Young flagship, and so many more! It’s also the location of the best night food street! Just across the street from Myeongdong is Namdaemun. This is where you will find all the authentic Korean shopping, where the real locals find all their trendy clothes and accessories. Do not ignore the abundance of street stall foods here though. They are snuggled between little clothing stores bursting with smells to entice your nose and your stomach!

For those that would not be interested in the color personalization, we can visit Children’s Grand Park. This is a very popular family friendly park with a small amusement park, zoo, and lots of open green space. The fountain here has been seen in a few dramas too! It is also walking distance to Konkuk University, which is a really cool place to find a variety of local restaurants and cafes. Nearby is also Ttukseom Hangang Park with cool views of the river and great picnic areas.

Day 3 - Nami Island, Petite France, Rail bike
Today, we explore an artistic island, Nami Island, where the famous drama Winter Sonata was filmed. Kdrama legends know this the second installment of the classic tetralogy by director Yoon Seok-Ho bringing actors like Bae Yong-join, Choi Ji-woo, Son Ye-jin, Daniel Henney, Song Seung-heon, Song Hye-kyo, and Won Bin into mainstream Korean household names. We will also visit Petite France, a cute European style theme park village that also serves as the backdrop to many dramas such as My Love From the Star, Secret Garden, One Spring Night and more. We will end our day with a sunset rail bike ride taking in the beautiful scenery this part of Korea has to offer.

Day 4 - Yongma Land, Lotte World
It’s an amusement park filed day! Come enjoy this cute but haunting abandoned amusement park. Even if you are not aware of all the K-pop and Kdramas filmed here, you will still get a unique look at how cute things continue to live on even after they are forgotten by the masses. K-pop fans have seen this abandoned amusement park in music videos by BTS, The Rose, Twice, BAP, TXT, BEAST, 2NE1, and Eric Nam, and others. A few Kdramas filed here are The Sound of Magic, Sisyphus; The Myth, Tale of the Nine-Tailed, and Healer (among others). Afterwards, we will head to the currently occupied amusement park Lotte World. Located in the middle of Seoul, you come face to face with the cutest amusement park in the world. You have floating hot air balloons, princess castle, and so many Instagramable photo spots you will lose yourself in cuteness.

Day 5 - Hanbok rental, Gyeongbokgung Palace, Bukchon Village
Get into Korean culture day! You are welcomed to rent a Korean hanbok to relive traditional Korean life as we explore one of the largest palaces in Korea, Gyeongbokgung. Walking through the ornate halls in your Korean hanbok is a priceless experience. It’s as if a Korean movie has come to life and you are the star. You can also walk along the narrow traditional alleyways of Bukchon Village. These alleys are filled with traditional Korean hanbok houses with the tiled walls and roofs, a perfect setting for you to take in old Korea right next to the palace.

Day 6 - Daejunggeum, Iksa-dong cafes
We continue visiting traditional Korea, but with a spin. Today, we take in the beautiful film set Daejunggeum Theme Park where you can sometimes come upon an actual filming taking place! This is where such dramas as Under the Queen’s Umbrella, Dae Jung Geum, King the Land, Alchemy of Souls, Mr. Queen, and more were brought to life! This site has buildings from both the Joseon and Baekje eras giving you such nostalgic feels as you meander through the buildings imagining Ji Chang Wook walking around the corner or running into the swave Lee Jun-ho. We finish the day in Iksa-dong where you can have your pick of any photogenic cafes with a million opportunities to get that perfect social media picture to share with all your friends!

Day 7 - Namdaemun Shopping Tour, Namsan Tower
Today you will get a free day. You are free to roam any of the previously visited sites or if you want to see other places, you can ask your leads to help give you directions on how to get there. South Korea is a super safe country, but please be aware of your surroundings as with any foreign country travel. We will end the night together at the world renowned Namsan N Tower. It sits prominently over Seoul. Think Boys Over Flowers and Itaewon Class! This iconic structure is featured in almost every Kdrama or movie that comes from Korea.

Day 8 - HiKR Ground, K-pop Street, BTS Street
This full day walking tour will take us to a few places where you can interact with Korea’s most well known export, K-pop. You can be the star of your own K-pop style photo shot at HiKR Ground. More opportunities to get that perfect photo to remind you of how you will never forget your visit to Korea and its love of music. We will also visit K-pop Street where you can see the teddy bears dedicated to the various bands that you know. The cherry on the top of your unforgettable Korean visit will be BTS Street. Here, you will see BTS fans dedicate their love for the band with murals and more.

Day 9 - Namsongol Hanok Village, COEX Starfield Library
Traverse along the tiny alleyways of Namsongol Hanok Village and experience what local Korean lives used to be. Visit the adorable coffee shop and sit and relax in the courtyard. You will fall in love with the old time feel of the traditional houses and courtyards. After visiting the past, we are going to fast forward to current, modern Korea at the COEX Starfield Mall where you will see the infamous Starfield Library.

Day 10 - Leave for USA
